Remember when we had a poem contest two years ago, glorifying tulips? I just had this wave of nostalgia wash over me and felt inspired to repost one of them. Since Raphael was the official "winner" of the contest, I'll stick his on here...
The Tulip
A beautiful peace of God's art surging forth from the soil with no other intention than to leave your jaw hanging.
Producing incomprehensible colors that leave you in a days,
the tulip could very well be the eighth wonder of the world.
The tulip is a masterful boombastical piece of earthiness that you won't need a warranty for.

Oh my garsh. I just went back and read all the comments for the original tulip post. It brings back such fun memories of the local Bernhofts, Cowie, and the tulip fields. :) sigh. Come back, chickens!
Omj, (Oh My Jarsh) Clairey, I wrote you a letter!
Who votes for another poem contest? *raises hand*
