I'm sitting at the Russells house, looking out the window at a delightfully grey sky, and my toes are freezing. What a great feeling! We got into Seattle at about 11 last night, found the Russells, found our luggage, found their car, found a way out of the airport, found the Russells house, with a car full of Duncan sitting outside, and it was all delightful. The Duncans hung around for about an hour, I think, although I was a little bit giddy and didn't really notice what time it was or anything. Then this morning, a car load of Curtises and Hermans arrived. We had apple dutch baby for breakfast, and there was lots of laughing and fun. It's so good to see everyone again.
So everyone up here, come and see us! And please try to arrange for some nice rain. It was CLEAR when we got up here, and that's completely unacceptable. Clear skies are what California is for!
