Once upon a time...

there were five little girls named Claire, Madeline, Bing, Deirdre, and Sheila. They lived happily for quite some time. Then one of them decided it would be fun to have a tea party.

So Claire and Bing, who happened to be best friends, went tea party dress shopping. Claire found a beautiful dress, plaid on top with a mismatched bottom that only Claire would be able to find. Bing found a tasteful, elegant and classic tea party dress, and they were both thrilled with their choices.

Deirdre, Madeline and Sheila went shopping too. Deirdre's dress of choice was $3000, but since she was saving up for a car, she settled instead on a feather boa and pink lace dress. Madeline found a truly *remarkable* dress, two different shades of lime green, with matching leggings. And Sheila fell in love with a light purple, rather frumpy, frilly dress.

Now that they were all decked out in their finery, they made tea, sponge cake, star fruit and whipped cream, zucchini bread, and spread it all out on a lace table cloth in Bing's kitchen.

*slurp. sip. crunch. nibble. slurp*

The rain was falling, as rain is wont to do, and the fivesome felt it high time to frollick in the aforementioned rain. So they did, got soaking wet, ruined their party dresses, and had a high old time. Congratulations, girls, on an afternoon well spent.

Are you sure that they didn't also play fliers up with an orange in the street afterwards?

Guys, you forgot about the 9:30 dinner of stroganoff! :) I love our tea party dresses, esp. the part about Deirdre's 3000 dollar one. Was it from Neiman Marcus? *sigh* So, gals, when're you coming visiting?
Charming, charming story.

That stroganoff was SO good. Mmmmm! And what about the singing Latino favorites? And looking at hot cars online? Ha ha! Didn't we watch Roman Holiday that night?
Shill, we really want to come down in the later part of the summer.

Oh my garsh! (Jarsh) I didn't realize how many awesome things we packed into that one day. You guys mention memory after memory - it seems like it must have taken at least 3 or 4 days to do that many fun-filled things. We are quite the group of multi-taskers.

Looking back, I've decided that was the best day of my life. My wedding will definitely be a let-down after it.

I say amen to that, Deirdre. We're pretty talented. And weddings are lame anyway. :)
BESAME! BESAME MUCHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *sigh*
Late summer? Okay, just as long as it's not like late August. Otherwise PERF.

Deirdz, ha ha ha! :) I love that. It really does seem like a ton for one day... And we didn't even cover it all. There was also the fun trip to Home Depot and then to Hollywood Video! :)

Okay, Shill. We were thinking early August.

Wasn't it Lowes? That was fun. What were we buying anyway? I don't remember.
Gosh, I think I'm going to go make myself some candied walnuts just because no one's home to help me eat them. Mwahaha.
Deidre, I'm looking forward to your wedding anyway. I shudder when I think about my bridesmaid's dress. Or should I say 'outfit'. :)

What a day... If only we could have it over again - Oh wait! If you guys come down in August, we just might be able to try!

Tell us when you'd like to make the trip, and I'll start making my paper chain counting down the days. I'll put a special phrase on each link - "Yessss... *spicy Rohan face*"

Wow... I can't believe that was all the same day. Apparently my memory doesn't serve me very well. I remember it all, it just seems like it couldn't possibly have all happened at the same time.

Oh, and don't come August 1-4. But besides that, August is wide open, except for the part where I might be going to Switz. from the 11-18, and I start school on the 20. I don't konw about switzerland though.

Almost as wide open as my schedule and a clam shell with a live clam inside that doesn't want to be attacked. That kind of "wide open."

Yeah, I guess it was Lowes. Deirdz, that's a *fan*tastic idea! :)
Wow, Hannah. Were you inspired?
